New version of FSPViewer

PanoTools NG mailing list
FSPViewer is a program for locally viewing equirectangular panoramic
images of any size.

I have released version 2.1.0. You can find it at

http://www.fsoft.it/FSPViewer/

New features:

- Now the “shimmering” effect that can be noticed when panning slowly at
a small (less than 50%) zoom factor has been greatly reduced.
- Added a "Tools/Set View Parameters" menu to manually set yaw, pitch
and horizontal field of view.
- Added an option to show the current values of yaw and pitch in the
status bar.
- Some bug fixes.

FSPViewer version 2 is available for Linux, Mac and Windows.

Feel free to report any problem.

Re: New version of FSPViewer

Hi Fulvio,

i'm using the Linuxversion of FSPViewer and really like it for a quick
check during the stitching process. The now available view parameters
are a nice addition.

But (there is always a but) the viewer still crashes with an unexpected
error when there is a umlaut like in 'köln' somewhere in the path.
Renaming to 'koeln' solves this and allows to view the panorama, but
that is just an inconvenient workaround.

Regard and thanks again for the useful viewer,
Peter
